Saund has lived and worked up and down
the west coast. Presently he lives in Mountain View in california
near San Francisco. He started his career with a Xerox PARC
division in El Segundo near Los Angeles and later moved to
Palo Alto near San Francisco. Since 1996 he has helped start
three companies with offices in and around the bay area.
Wall Street New York Market Development
Between 1994 and 2000 Saund developed a
knack for building products in the west coast and sales and
marketing to prominent Wall Street Customers. He developed
channels and direct sales customers such as Morgan Stanley,
Smith Barney, Bloomberg and others.
UK Deal Making
As worldwide VP of Sales & Marketing
Saund developed relationships with channel partners and UK-based
wireless telecommunication giant mmO2.
Stockholm Deal Making
Recruited Ericsson to becoming a sales
strategic partner for wireless handheld video.
Helsinki & Tampere, Finland Deal Making
Closed deal with Nokia for distribution
of the ActiveSky Media player.
Sydney & Queensland, Australia
Built worldwide marketing and sales strategy
around engineering team based in Australia. Later company
formed strategic relationshio with Telstra, largest AUS wireless
operator.
Japan Deal Making
Deployed handheld video solution with DoCoMo
and Dentsu. Later struck strategic ties with Qualcomm KK to
create relations with KDDI. Finally, Itochu helped ActiveSky
to launch a Japanese product on KDDI cell phones.
India Ventures and Markets
Generated interest for SkyPipes last mile
wireless solution with Indian service providers including
Sify, Reliance
and others. Have been asked to speak at 13th
Convergence India 2005 conference
