SKYPIPES WIRELESS , Chief Marketing Officer (present)
Saund co-founded the stealth stage startup leading marketing and sales efforts to bring a break-through technology to the broadband wireless access market. Restarting the company with new business plan, he helped close $5M series A.

The technology is based on a unique antenna in a mesh formation compatible with WiMax standard. At 7 megabits-per-household it enables service providers to deploy triple play service of internet, telephone and television through license-free spectrum.

Saund delivered funding focused around the micro-market strategy of prosperous and short decision-cycle rural telcos. Selected to present at exclusive trade conferences he collected top endorsements to create commitments and $48M pipeline prior to product roll out. More

YAGA Inc. & CORVIGO (TUMBLEWEED), Consultant
Saund partnered with former NBCi CEO to establish a wireless micro-payment strategy for Yaga Inc. Later, his channel development and eMarketing helped sell Corvigo (antispam) for $41.5M to Tumbleweed six months after its $5M funding round by Sequoia Capital. More

ACTIVESKY, VP Marketing & Business Development (2001-03)
Selected by board, Saund led the restart of the wireless video company in 2001. He re-oriented company technology, marketing and business plan from dot.com to network operators and top-tier media firms generating revenue relations with industry giants worldwide: Verizon and FOX in US, mm02 in UK, DoCoMo in Japan and Telstra in Australia.

Working closely with world renowned MPEG-4 pioneers, Saund established a product marketing strategy that was endorsed by top 3G carriers and channel partners. Despite a pipeline of $4M in revenues, company came up short in raising series "C" financing in the aftermath of the dot.com bust.

In addition to revenue generating carrier and media relationships, worldwide channel partners included Qualcomm, SUN Microsystems, Openwave, Infospace, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Handspring, Palm, Itochu, Cartezia, Dentsu, and Emblaze ... More
