led the field in Enterprise
Content Managment generating endorsements from Gartner,
while others, (Vignette
et.al ) focused on consumer websites. Reachcast products
managed content and workflow software specialized for Wall
Street Research
end-to-end web-based production and publication. Saund closed
$2.5M in contracted revenues from first tier Wall St. firms
Salomon
Smith Barney and Morgan
Stanley.
Saund grew
company’s year-to-year revenues by 100% through an Oracle
alliance and drove sales to double valuation of SoftBank

XEROX
PARC - Area General Manager (1983-1989)
Saund honed his skils at the start of his career at the prestigious
Xerox Palo Alto Research Center. PARC claimed many
innovations in the computer field including ethernet,
windows,
mice, networking, laser printers, routers and many more.
He
was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" for conceiving
a winning product concept called Xerox
Documenter to regain market share in the desktop
publishing area. He prototyped software, committed sales
force to a $100M forecast, sold senior management, built team
of developers, QA and program management and went concept
to launch in record-breaking time. His projects enabled the
company to grab 33% share of the global collaborative suite
market. Developed worldwide launch strategy with global partners
Fuji Xerox and
Siemens.
Saund also led Product Management efforts
to commercialize PARC research that later spun out as Documentum,
InXight and others.
